Oil fuel management for Peugeot automobiles

Management of fuel and motor oil stocks and supplies: an issue for the production line in Peugeot’s factories.

Peugeot automobiles have contracted Erla Technologies SAS for supply solutions in order to distribute and manage all of their fluids: motor oil, gearbox oil, windscreen washer, coolant, red diesel, diesel and 95 and 98 RON unleaded petrol.

Six Epack management terminals are shared out between the workshops. Each of the terminals installed is directly linked to MODULIS dispensing equipment which alone provides unleaded petrol and diesel refuelling for vehicles.

The entirety of the device is piloted by Epack management software. Epack software is able at all times to control:

• Stores of petroleum products and other associated fluids
• Supplies

And to ensure monitoring of consumption when vehicles are transferred to the Lion subsidiary. A complete and innovative solution being applied within the automobile industry.

For example, the Epack computing system is capable of determining:

• The quantity of hydrocarbons and other products present in the retention tanks
• The exact amount of unleaded petrol or diesel to be transferred to the fuel tanks of cars which are assembled and ready to undergo bench tests.
