Erla Technologies enters the Algerian market
The Algerian market for the distribution of petroleum products and other associated fluids has opened its doors to Erla Technologies SAS. Our company designed and supplied two multi-product storage and distribution modules. The equipment are installed at the sites of Mécheria and Bechar, located in the east of Algeria. This programme was undertaken in order for rolling stock operating in this geographical area to be refuelled with diesel and other fluids.
The constraints connected to the climate in this area of the world constituted a genuine technical challenge. By undertaking to manufacture equipment which is adapted to the north-west of the Sahara, Erla Technologies SAS’s engineers managed to put forward innovative solutions and meet the challenge successfully.
In addition to storing and distributing the necessary diesel for refuelling the rolling stock, the MOBIPACK storage modules also supply motor oil and windscreen washer to the engines. These fluids are stored in separate and secure compartments to then be distributed by the device developed by Erla Technologies SAS. Each of these installations are managed by the Epack management logic controllers and monitoring software.
The hydrocarbon storage modules were specifically developed to resist the meteorological phenomena which exist in the operation zone in question. In order to maintain quality operation of the equipment, the installations were reinforced. These made-to-measure development operations dedicated to storage solutions in an area with extreme conditions increased the safety level of the service station and of the operators working on the site.
In addition to the installation of the petroleum product storage and distribution complex, the client expressed the need to implement a tool which could provide control over fuel stocks: diesel, oil and other liquids required for railcars to function efficiently.
The products developed by Erla Technologies SAS have Guaranteed French Produced certification.
